A Special Note of Thanks to My "Visually Impaired" Portrait Photographer

Bob Weinberg truly embodies the soul quest of an inspiration. He is a gracious man and an outstanding professional photographer of 30 years. His portraits include such celebrities as Bill Clinton and Pope John Paul II, Arnold Schwarzenegger,  Liv Ullman, Elie Wiesel, Dan Rather and Itzhak Perlman. He has captured familiar faces in Denver such as Cleo Parker Robinson and The Rev. Leon Kelly. And, he has captured the faces of our intimate community as well as our hearts.

Unfortunately, he began to lose his sight in 1996, due to a virus that has yet to be identified. I give him a special note of thanks for his incredible courage, determination and love for beauty, as he continues to pursue his own soul's quest in spite of his loss. And, he continues to delight us with his ability to capture the ordinary in such extraordinary ways. "The reason he's able to continue working as a photographer" says Sharon, his wife of nearly 20 years, "is that, he has a sense about it." Reflecting on the art of his own process, Bob says, "I feel when it's the right moment.”  As a result, his work intuitively and empathically, speaks for itself.

You see so much more with your soul my friend, and I rejoice in the love, sensitivity and gift of your photographic images, and most precious sight .

She has published several Books including, "Parenting Your Premature Baby and Child" (2004.) He is impassioned with a desire to protect our natural environment, and, extend freedom to ALL living creatures.

You’re also a wizard with words my friend, and, I can't thank you enough for your generosity, patience and humor, as we banded together to give this encounter one of its most valuable tools. A tool that will help others enjoy & connect, with the heart of their own Soul's Quest.

And emphatically So...

I would like to thank all of my friends and mentors, who have enriched my life with laughter, tears, wisdom, and love, as we have helped each other along the path of our own Soul's Quest.

A lot of who I am today is because of you and, without a doubt, you've made it all worthwhile. You ARE my inspiration!"
